Project overview
Salt is a high-spec, high density residential development just a short walk from Bayfair and the beautiful Papamoa/Mount Maunganui beach. We were a part of a comprehensive design consultant team for the project, providing surveying and engineering services to what became a beautiful and unique part of our city. The development features multi-story residential buildings with apartments and townhouses within, a cafe, and a childcare centre.
Challenges
- Brownfield development, with a live wastewater main running through the property.
- Multi-storey building designs, requiring a complex unit title subdivision.
- Lack of municipal stormwater infrastructure serving the site.
